Playing Audio and Video on this Website

Adobe Flash Player is required to play audio and video clips on this website.

Opening Downloaded Files

Some downloaded files are bundled and saved as a zip file. Most computers are pre-installed with applications that can open zip files, but if needed, the following applications can be used:

Downloaded audio and video files can be opened using any of the software titles below. Most computers have at least one of the following applications pre-installed, but if needed, they can be download at the links below:

Adobe Reader is required to open PDF files.

Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint can be used to open and edit Word documents and PowerPoint documents. Both applications are part of Microsoft Office. The links below offer more information on this suite of applications.

Additionally, the following applications can be used to view, but not edit, PowerPoint documents.

Javascript, Cookies, And Pop-Up Windows

This site uses javascript, cookies, and pop-up windows. While the use of these features by some sites is a nuisance and/or harmful to your computer, we use them only for the core functions of the site in order to maximize ease-of-use. The following information explains how to enable these features in your web browser.

Note: Web browser preferences are updated regularly, and those in your particular web browser version may not exactly match the following steps.

Enabling JavaScript

Firefox
If running the Windows operating system, open the Tools menu and select Options. If running the Mac OS X operating system, open the Firefox menu and select Preferences.
Click the Content icon.
Check the Enable JavaScript box.

Internet Explorer (Windows)
Open the Tools menu and select Internet Options.
Select the Security tab, and, with the Internet zone selected, set the security level slider bar to Medium (or use the Custom Level button for advanced settings).

Safari (Mac OS X)
Open the Safari menu and select Preferences.
Click the Security icon.
Check the Enable JavaScript box under Web Content.

Enabling Cookies

Firefox
On Windows, open the Tools menu and select Options.
Click the Privacy icon.
Check the Accept cookies from sites box under Cookies.
On Mac OS X, open the Firefox menu and select Preferences.
Click the Privacy icon.
In the History drop-down menu, select "Firefox will Remember history."

Internet Explorer (Windows)
Open the Tools menu and select Internet Options.
Select the Privacy tab, and set the slider bar to Medium (or use the Advanced button for advanced settings).

Safari (Mac OS X)
Open the Safari menu and select Preferences.
Click the Security icon.
Select either the Always or the Only from sites you navigate to button under Accept Cookies (We recommend choosing the Only from sites you navigate to option).

Enabling Pop-up Windows

Firefox
On Windows, open the Tools menu and select Options. On Mac OS X, open the Firefox menu and select Preferences.
Click the Content icon.
If Block Popup Windows is checked (which we recommend), click the Exceptions button.
In the Address of web site box, type: www.hsseries.osv.com
Click Allow.

Internet Explorer (Windows)
Open the Tools menu and select Internet Options.
Select the Privacy tab, and look under Pop-up Blocker. The Block pop-ups box may or may not be checked. If it is checked, click the Settings. button.
In the new Pop-up Blocker Settings window, near the bottom, set Filter Level to Medium: Block most automatic pop-ups.
Click Close.

Safari (Mac OS X)
Safari does not provide an "allowed sites" option. If you are having trouble using the site, look in the Safari menu to see if there's a check mark next to Block Pop-Up Windows. If there is, select that option from the menu to uncheck it. If the problem persists, please contact Our Sunday Visitor Curriculum Division Technical Support for assistance.
